The Insulin Fasting & Post Prandial Panel Test measures the level of insulin in your blood after fasting and again after eating. Process
- A blood sample is taken after at least 8 hours of fasting (usually in the morning).
- Another blood sample is collected 2 hours after eating a standard meal.
- Both samples are sent to the lab to compare insulin response before and after food intake.

People with symptoms like frequent urination, fatigue, thirst, or sudden weight changes, or those at risk for diabetes or metabolic disorders like PCOS, should consider this test. It’s also useful for monitoring diabetic patients.
