The Amenorrhoea Profile is a package of blood tests which investigates important hormones, such as Estradiol, FSH, LH, Prolactin, Progesterone, and TSH, that affect menstrual timing, ovulation, and thyroid functioning. Process
- A small blood sample is taken from a vein in your arm.
- The sample is tested and your hormone levels are measured.
- Testing will typically be timed with your menstrual cycle to make it accurate.
When to Get Tested
This test is recommended if you have not had a period for 3 months, have not started menstruating by age 16, or if you have symptoms of infertility, unexpected milk discharge, or symptoms of thyroid issues.
